In February, 2006 the Duke Hospital Ethics Committee was created.
Meeting monthly, with members drawn from throughout the Duke Hospital
and University community, the goal of the Committee is to reflect
on the ethical ramifications of clinical care practices at Duke
Hospital. Members will engage in self education using a formal curriculum
of directed readings and address topics of clinical significance
to patients and their families, the staff and our community. Members
serve two year terms. Current members include:
